Two-Day Driving Agenda

SCHEDULE

Fuelfed MotorGearo is a drive at your own pace vintage European car event. It is not a time-speed-distance trial or a guided tour. There is no pressure to go fast or drive beyond your comfort level. Your goal is to have fun, be on time for lunch, and finish in time for dinner each day.

We highly recommend arriving the evening of Thursday, June 11, to relax & mix before the event and staying overnight Saturday, June 13, to celebrate. Overnight destinations will be sent to those registering. 

MotorGearo begins early Friday morning in Dubuque, Iowa. You will be given a driver’s packet with an overview map. One lead vehicle in each car group will have a GPS with routes loaded. We’ve mapped routes for both days taking you through the countryside and over a variety of topography for a great driving experience.

At our lunch stops you’ll experience small town hospitality.

Friday afternoon MG250 participants will start arriving late afternoon at the Friday night location. You’ll park at your hotel or make your way to the bar for some refreshments first.

Our Friday night restaurant is walkable from either hotel. You will enjoy craft cocktails and conversation with your fellow road warriors over dinner while experiencing the spirited vibe of the restaurant’s upstairs loft.

Saturday morning we’ll depart from a location to be named. Same drill exiting as the day before — early morning drivers’ meeting before departing at regular intervals. You’ll drive a different route back toward central Wisconsin with a lunch stop in another charming small town on the way to our final destination.

Saturday late afternoon and evening mark the end of the MotorGearo with a Dirty Concours in the parking lot at hotel where our group will be staying. The MG250 will close the event with a private celebration dinner, awards, and cocktails at a brewery restaurant overlooking the river along one of central Wisconsin’s river towns. Dinner will be a 5-minute drive from our hotel. 

Hotels:  Participants are responsible for booking their own rooms. For your convenience, Fuelfed has arranged special pricing and blocks of rooms. Hotel information will be sent to you after registering.
