The Midwest’s Premier Classic European Road Rally June 2-3, 2017

Two Day Driving Agenda

Fuelfed MotorGearo 250 is a drive at your own pace vintage European car event. It is not a time-speed-distance trial or a guided tour. There is no pressure to go fast or drive beyond your comfort level. Your goal is to have fun be on time for lunch and finish line receptions each day.

We recommend arriving the evening of Thursday, June 1 to relax & mix before the event and staying overnight Saturday, June 3, to celebrate.

The MG250 begins Friday morning in New Glarus, Wisconsin. You will be given a turn by turn map/directions to navigate. Two vehicles in each car group will have GPS’s with routes loaded. We’ve mapped routes for both days taking you through the countryside and over a variety of topography for a great driving experience.

At our lunch stops you’ll experience small town hospitality. At Friday’s lunch stop the town is blocking off the street for private parking by the restaurant.

Friday afternoon MG250 participants will start arriving mid/late afternoon in Prairie du Chien. You’ll park at the hotel and make your way to the bar for some refreshments and light appetizers. Your drinks are on you. Apps are on us.

Dinner will be back at a local supper club, Jones’ Black Angus, at 7pm, but show up early and enjoy a cocktail and conversation with your fellow road warriors. Please let us know prior to the event if you’d like a ride to/from the hotel, and we’ll take care of it. Prairie du Chien is a great town, but you won’t find taxis.

Saturday morning we’ll depart from the hotel. Same drill exiting for New Glarus as the day before — early morning check in and depart at regular intervals. You’ll drive a different route back to with a lunch stop in another quaint small town on the way to New Glarus.

Saturday late afternoon and evening mark the end of the MotorGearo with a Dirty Concours in the parking lot at Chalet Landhaus where our group will be staying. We’ll relax on the patio from 4:00-5:30pm with drinks and snacks. The MG250 will close the event with a private celebratory dinner at New Glarus Hotel.

Hotels:  Participants are responsible for booking their own rooms. For your convenience, Fuelfed has arranged  special pricing and blocks of rooms. Hotel  information will be sent to you after registering.
